God moves in mysterious ways

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~Jeremiah 29:11

But, when what I've planned gets ruined... When what I've prepared painstakingly gets messed up... Sometimes, I feel like... "God, what are you doing?" "Why are these things happening to me?" Why do you let these happen?" " God, did I do something wrong?"

Endless questions... Complains... Confusion... These brought me to a reality. A reality that is already in front of me but I just ignore.

An epiphany... I realized that I'm doing things in my own will. It's not His will. That struck me. I acknowledged His presence but I did not ask for His help. I have always prepared ahead but did not ask what His plans are.

I am God's creation. He is my master. Why do I act according to my plan? According to the verse, God has already had plans for us. Plans which were not yet revealed to us. Plans which will be revealed to us by our faith as we go on in our lives. In a way, God's plans might sadden us. But, we should think that He knows what's best for us. We just have to trust Him and His plans because A FATHER WILL NOT DO THINGS THAT WOULD HARM HIS BELOVED CHILD.
